Categories: DIY + How To

When it comes to classic modern shelving, the wooden display box is a forerunner for the sort of item that you love immediately and keep forever. You can imagine how delighted we were to find a DIY project that takes the idea of one wooden box, and makes it way better. This wooden box cabinet looks stunning, but is also simple enough that anyone could tackle it. Would you like to add a wooden display box cabinet to your home? Or perhaps give one as an awesome handmade gift? Here are the instructions.

Okay, so this website is totally not in English, but if our Google Chrome translation tool is to be trusted, the directions for making your own awesome wooden display boxes goes a bit like this:

Step 1 Buy a number of wooden boxes, such as Xenos . Choose the same type of box, different sizes, so that the cabinet will soon be playful.

The sizes of the boxes in the picture:

  • A small rectangle of 25 × 17 cm.
  • 2 rectangles of 30 × 20 cm.
  • 2 rectangles of 35 × 25 cm
  • 5 large rectangles of 30 × 40 cm.
  • 2 squares 40 x 40 cm.

Step 2 Determine at which wall you want to build the cabinet.

Step 3 Now it’s a matter of stacking boxes and see what a nice combination. It is useful to anyone determined to keep the boxes so you can view or from a distance it looks nice.

Step4 Hold, using a spirit level the boxes straight.

Step 5 Put the boxes with screws to the wall or put together. In the box on the picture, we also separate boxes on the wall.

So easy! See the original post and more information here.
