If you’re in the Cambridge, MA area on election night, be sure to check out this interactive art installation in Central Square. It’s the brain child of Paul Notzold from Brooklyn, and put on by the Cambridge Arts Council.
Anyone can text a message to the phone number in the project and they will be shown in the speech bubbles on the building! Notzold says:
“‘TXTual Healing’ encourages the public sharing of thoughts, experiences and ideas using devices that typically support more private communications. The project harnesses the Short Message Service capabilities of the cell phone as a medium to interact with, and explore, our shared public and physical space – rather than a means to escape it.”
