We just found a project by artist Matt Stevens (via the great blog Public School) that takes the idea of Pantone color swatches and mixes it with history and wit. The resulting infographic is delightful, aesthetically pleasing, and you just must visit his website to see the rest of the years represented. Talk about showing (rather than just discussing) how good design makes life awesome.
