In June of 2007, I introduced you guys to an awesome cermacist by the name of Paige Russell. Paige gave 2modern an exclusive interview about her work, process and inspirations (check out the Paige Russell interview here). Recently, Paige was chosen by Fossil as one of their 4 artists to create original vintage-inspired work that embodies the “Long Live Vintage” campaign. The planters that Paige created have a form that is extracted from the Eames Lounge Chairs! Fossil’s Long Live Art page has a great video of Paige explaining the process behind these awesome planters.
