BAK Architects is probably one of my favorite Architectural Firms. The JD house, which just finished construction this year, is set in the forest of Mar Azul in the Argentinian province of Buenos Aires. I love the use of wood as a design element in this house. The concrete also adds to the natural theme of the home. An additional design feature is the way the home was created around the some of the mature trees of the forest. Although I don’t know how growth would affect the deck, it’s definately an interesting touch.
