Jewelry Designed by Architects

Architecture & Interiors

It is exciting to see that architectural designers often explore other creative opportunities in the design industry.  One of my favorites is a line of jewelry designed by Frank Gehry for Tiffany & Co.

This is an image of Gehry's 7-Fish necklace which blends sterling silver, wood, jade, and onyx.  A beautiful piece that consists of unique materials. I love how simple and elegant it appears.

Another one of my favorite pieces is the Torque Open Ring.  Almost structural in appearance, the ring creates movement and interest. There are many more interesting and beautiful pieces designed by Gehry for Tiffany & Co., but I am wondering how many other architects have also explored jewelry design.
