Tiled chair

At first sight, it may seem that this chair was made of tiles. Actually, Corian was the raw material (and the steel for the legs, of course) of this chair, designed by Brazilian Flavia Pagotti Silva. Flavia was inspired by the Portuguese tiles which are part  of the façades of old big houses in northeastern Brazilian city São Luis do Maranhão.

Really Cool!

I can see this chair to be a hit in Greece or Spain (Santorini - Ibiza) Where all the buildings are almost white with navy blue as an accent.
