It’s a nice looking fixture, a new take on Luis Poulsen’s artichoke lamp. This fixture alone will not create a modern environment – it would look inappropriate if the lighting in your house is oldfashioned. To get a truly inspiring modern and sophisticated look you need to hire a good lighting professional – lighting designer, or an interior designer that has been trained to position the lighting and knows the lighting levels that are appropriate for any particular environment (room in your house). It would not do you any good just to stick a one nice looking pendant in the ceiling.

Have you considered using LED light they are a much brighter light, and you can also get them in different colors.

LOVE the first light shown and how easily it fits in with the more traditional wood molding as well as an ultra contemporary environment! It has nice graceful expression and movement.
