This unrelenting chatter is the raw material out of which artists Karsten Schmidt and Sascha Pohflepp have created, the Social Collider, a work of interactive digital art that tracks a user name or theme over time, revealing the way in which ideas propogate through networks. Visitors to the project’s web site type in a word and watch the data accumulate on the screen and evolve into beautiful pathways that map information.
