Whoever said modern design had no personality was obviously looking in the wrong place. I’ve always secretly suspected that my furniture has a life of its own once the lights turn out, and these amazing lighting and furniture ranges from Singapore-based Daniel Loves Objects well and truly reinforce my theory!
The lighting range, At Your Command,
features some delightfully clumsy mannequins who don’t seem to be able
to find their way out of their lampshade. They do have a few redeeming
qualities though, like a movable design and lustrous gold plating!
The battling bookshelves from the Of War & Wits & Power range boast some interesting features too, like impressive missile motifs and a heavily armed guard. Those little golden guys seem especially protective and highly trained, so if a battle ever breaks out between your coordination-challenged lighting and your military enabled bookshelves, chose your side wisely!
