Pencils will snap, fingers will bleed, and and young children will cry in terror. Okay, it’s not quite that scary, but this Sunday October 12, from 3-7, 100 artists will face blank paper and draw like race car drivers in heats of 25 each.
As soon as an artists finishes a drawing, you can snap them up on the spot for a flat $75. The funds go to support the non-profit, Outpost for Contemporary Art. A long roster of musicians and DJs will provide a live soundtrack to the event.
Where: Altadena, California at the William D. Davies Memorial Building @ 568 East Mount Curve Avenue. 91001 – just North of Pasadena. Get the map
