Technology in a retro disguise

I saw this item and thought it a perfect fit for this blog. This is a perfect combination of modern technology and retro design. Created by Wilkerson Furniture, a maker of mid-century furniture, this 44' x 55' inch console for a flat screen television is not in full production. Right now, this is a limited custom item but I can only hope that this concept will catch on and there will be more designs incorporating modern technology and classic design into general home items.
