I want to share with you some great products that I found. They are all different, but have two things in common, they are great ideas and they are well designed. Let´s start with my favorite…
This beautiful desk calendar is a design of Niels-Kjeldsen for Dupont. It name is "The Corian Calendar". The great thing of it, is that is a forever calendar, so you only have to purchase one, for your life time (with a good care of it, off course). The bad thing, is that everyday you have to put the new date, but think positive, maybe is a good habit ;)
Now is the turn of chess, one of my favorite games, but this is a new version of it. As you can see the board is now made of a printed cardboard, and all the pieces are made of a thin clear plastic. This innovation is great because made the game more transportable (more light in every way), pieces will never fall and it is very cheap (just $11,99). Perfect for chess beginners. This version is from Paradoxy Products, and they call it: New Wave.
And the last one, the greatest idea of all, the double matches. If we have to save the trees, why all the matches have only one side? This is so simple and obvious that I have to put it here. The idea is from Paolo Ulian… OMG, thanks to him!, what a brilliant idea!

well the matches are actually a stupid idea, this works if you use it for a second or so but if you have a few candles for example and the flame goes on for a while, instead of wearing out after it reaches your hand it’ll burst into flames again
They are not stupid. Maybe sometimes you will not be able to use both sides, but many times if you are fast enough, why not?
I think this double matches can work, and help us to save resources.
