Road Trip Pt. 3 -- Cafe de Paris

Outside Atlanta, in Marietta GA, a lovely French cafe sits unassumingly in a strip mall.  If you find yourself at 1100 Johnson Ferry Rd, make sure to stop in, and while you are at it, check out the lamps.
They are hand-blown and Italian, and give the cafe a delightfully whimsical quality. After you finish your exquisite dessert, go next door to the luxurious  gift store, C'est Moi, owned by the same couple who run the restaurant. Inside you will find everything from quirky chandeliers that look like branches, beautifully simply earrings made from recycled green glass, and unique purses.
