Long known for its motto and pension for housing hippies, one doesn’t immediately associate the idea of downtown Austin with a skyline full of skyscrapers. Despite how you may or may not feel about the phenomenon of condos (a very heated topic here in Austin), the skyline is changing rapidly.
While most of here have heard the news stories, experienced the ground-breaking parties and seen the projects expand everyday, here is, for the rest of you, a taste of some of the projects and the people who are shaping the future Austin skyline. (And before you make fun of me for the descriptions of the chosen condos within this post, keep in mind they were all taken from the individual websites.)
