Hanging Above

Lamp
What used to be lamps constructed out of paper, now bends organically out of thin aluminum lines.  Label Atelier Oï, consists of a trio of designers, Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis and Patrick Reymond in La Neuveville, Switzerland, upholds a specific philosophy of multidisciplinary nature.  Their design for Foscarini's Allegro light fixture won a spot on the 2008 Time Magazine's "Design 100" along with other most influential designs of today.

Allegro presents a group of lines that create an elegant, fascinating symphony in a suspended, almost magical equilibrium and give life to a new lamp designed to feature in large public and private spaces. Aluminium elements flow and combine together to give the suspension a light, bodiless effect.
