I get very excited when I have the opportunity to combine two of my passions: light design and acrylic. This material has an amazing range of options, making possible incredible shapes and lighting effects. Also, the use of silk screen adds infinite possibilities of products.
Unfortunately, here in Brazil, acrylic is still an expensive raw material, but I hope this will change very soon. Some producers are starting to make well executed pieces with a fair cost. In my experience, I’ve noticed that consumers really understand the quality and design of acrylic made pieces, mainly in lighting products.

I totaly agree with your ideas on acrylic and lighting. I am an interior designer and I have designed and personaly made light boxes (set of 3) that are different colors and are 5 feet high. Everyone that has been in my house or seen my lights on display have commented on how amazing they are, and how much they love the material I chose. Like you, I think people do appreciate the value and quality of design in acrylic lighting. I loved seeing your ideas-keep up the great ideas.
