generally i look forward to summer because it means warm weather, vacations and lazy days in the sun. but i have a whole new reason to look forward to this summer - the new charles & ray eames stamps! usps is releasing a set of 16 stamps in honor of the duo for "their groundbreaking contributions to architecture, furniture design, manufacturing and photographic arts." i think i may need to frame a set - afterall, it's the cheapest i'll ever have to pay for a set of eames chairs in my house.
wow! that's awesome! i've never been excited about stamps before. i'm going to check my post office for these tomorrow. i'll have to send out happy president's day cards :)
