Back to the Future

I was first drawn to the furniture of Haldane Martin when I saw how they tackled a modernization of a very traditional South African piece of furniture called the riempie (pronounced rim-pi). This is the more traditional type, as seen on FreshlyFound's blog... the pulled leather strips are really what's key.
