Family Edition

Sorry I missed you guys last week. I flew to Washington,DC to give my family and friends a surprise visit and was distracted with all the time traveling I had done from Sydney to DC.

This weeks post is a special family edition as my older sister is responsible for introducing me to the Greenbelt line of furniture. They are modernized and streamlined pieces of contemporary furniture that are pioneers in the Eco-Modernism movement. Peter Danko designed these beauties using European beech sustainably sourced from PEFC certified forests and non-toxic/water based adhesives and finishes. The basket woven seating is made from crash-tested, post-industrial automotive seat belts that are a great alternative for environmentally problematic urethane foam seat suspension.

Looks pretty awesome for seating made out of old seat belts, doesn't it ?

Thanks for the great find sis !
