The first time I saw Jeremy Cole’s Aloe range I literally did a somersault !
The Aloe collection is based on the forms of the tropical cactus and its fleshy-leaves. According to Cole, a London-based New Zealander, it’s just a lucky bonus that they work so well as lights. I wish he would give me some of that Kiwi luck.
He based the lights on the life stages of the plant — the bud, the blossom and the shoot.

Seeing these bad boys in person is amazing ! They make you look at ceramics and lighting design in a whole new way. The mix of the
hand-cast porcelain, transparent acrylic base and the polished aluminum
fittings comes together so well that you don’t even realize all the
design goodness that’s happening in there.
