New York and Memphis

If you can make it to New York or Memphis this June, you are in luck!  On June 1-3 SOFA New York will take place at the 7th Regiment Armory.  This "International Expositions of Sculpture Objects & Functional Art" is THE jewelry viewing opportunity not to miss (over fifty galleries from around the world will be exhibiting).   SOFA also offers a free lecture series with admission.

Stephanie Jenis, Skyscraper, Sienna Gallery And if that's not enough, jet on over to Memphis from June 13 - 16 for tha annual SNAG Conference, "Directions Unknown"  Looking Forward, Learning from History".  Don't let the name SNAG fool you, the Society of North American Goldsmiths includes artists working in MANY other medium.  Some of the events at this year's conference include, a juried student exhibition, lectures, a gallery tour, and YES- a final night dance party!  See the lovely METALSMITH magazine for a feel. . .
