German designer Jan Kath creates amazing rugs that cater to the modern design lover in us all. Kath, based in lovely Hamburg, combines exquisite modern design with traditional Himalayan handiwork resulting in rugs so glorious that you could easily display them as art. But, they’re much more practical on the floor, so I suggest keeping them there. ;) I was in Hamburg, Germany this past November and got to see some of her rugs in person and can stand behind what I’m saying here – they are exquisite.
