Modern Architecture L.A.

I am based in L.A., so please don't think I am biased when I review the Southern California modern lifestyle. It is what I know. I love NY, SF, Seattle, Chicago and smaller urban areas...but frankly, I don't know much. I do know L.A., and like to share my little gems, so bare with me.

Many seem to overlook a lot of modern architecture in Los Angeles. The next time you plan a visit, pick up a copy of:

Case_study_houses_1 Case Study Houses : Elizabeth Smith

or

Modern_architecture_1 Los Angeles: An Architectural Guide by David Gebhard and Robert Winter

There are so many wonderful (albeit spread-out) commercial and residential beauties. Rent a car and explore the masterpieces of Frank Lloyd Wright, Rudolph Schindler, Charles + Ray Eames and more...
